Building 101 dinners
This winter we are going to host potluck style dinners for 20-30 people who are building a company. There will be a topic for each dinner and short talk.Food will be simple stuff that is usually served in a crockpot.The format is to build connections between founders and connect, learn some stuff, and help develop some accountability. No one wants to be the person who didn't do something in the last week.Founders of real unicorns, builders of great products, and investors are invited to help you move quicker. This is ideal for those who aspire to get into programs like Y-Combinator.
Why apply?
This format has a proven track record of connecting highly talented and ambitious founders. We invite successful founders (many are YC alumni) to come and get to know you. The process helps you stay accountable and better understand what is possible along with how to achieve what you want to achieve.Previous versions of this workshop and dinner series has had attendees go on to Y-Combinator and other paths that lead to raising their first round of capital. There is no requirement for you take this workshop to be eligible for funding from Barn VC but it certainly helps everyone get to know each other better.
